Abstract This review focuses on the effects environment due to production of polymer‐solvent solutions and manufacture polymeric fibers thicknesses from a nanometer up millimeter using these solutions. The most common fiber methods are reviewed based their environment, particularly use hazardous materials energy consumption. Published literature is utilized analyze quantify consumption manufacturing electrospinning, phase separation, self‐assembly, template synthesis, drawing pressurized gyration. results show that during stage lifecycle fibers, gyration more environmentally efficient primarily its mass‐producing features fast processing into it also works best with water‐based Further green alternatives described such as sustainable polymers solvents enhance environmental benefit.
